THE OPERAVUE PERSPECTIVE

Extraordinary expertise.
Extraordinary potential.

Every operation brings together years of judgment, technique, and experience. Far too much of that knowledge never leaves the room.

We’re building a bridge from surgical practice to surgical intelligence by sourcing video, designing new capture programs, and bringing clinical expertise to the data that powers research.

From procedure to possibility

FOR SURGEONS & DATA PARTNERS

Your expertise creates value.
You should share in it.

For individual surgeons, surgical practices, hospitals, and health systems. Two ways to contribute. A partnership built around you.

01 / EXISTING DATA

You have the footage.
We see the potential.

Put your existing surgical video to work. We assess your archive, confirm licensing rights, and match suitable data with relevant research needs.

02 / NEW CAPTURE

We provide the headset.
You bring the perspective.

Want to record your procedures? We provide an optional recording headset as part of a capture partnership. Help build surgical datasets and share in the value your recordings create.

Minimum guarantees

Agreed payments for qualifying data partnerships. Clear terms, before work begins.

Revenue sharing

Participate in the value your data creates through agreed licensing revenue shares.

More ways to contribute

Paid opportunities in clinical annotation, model evaluation, and expert advisory work.

Compensation is agreed per partnership and subject to rights, quality, demand, and institutional requirements. No universal rate or earnings promise.

BUILT BY SURGEONS

UNITED STATES

The future of surgery
should be built
with surgeons.

Our perspective comes from surgical practice in the United States. We believe the people closest to the work should help shape the technology and share in the value it creates.

We’re building for an ecosystem of innovators. More teams with access to meaningful surgical data. More opportunities for clinical expertise. More possibilities for progress.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Clarity from
the start.

What kinds of surgical data are you interested in?

We welcome discussions about video from any surgical specialty, including open, laparoscopic, robotic, endoscopic, and microscopic procedures. Existing footage does not need to be stereoscopic. Suitability depends on image quality, available context, rights, privacy requirements, and buyer demand.

Can you provide a headset to record procedures?

Yes. We provide a recording headset for surgeons who choose a headset capture partnership. Using a headset is optional: you can also explore licensing existing footage or contributing clinical expertise. The recording plan, institutional approvals, equipment arrangements, minimum guarantees, and revenue sharing are agreed for each partnership.

Do I need to record new footage?

No. We offer two routes: licensing existing surgical archives and partnering on new capture. New capture programs can use 2K stereoscopic cameras, with hardware, exact recording specifications, workflow, and costs agreed for each project.

How do minimum guarantees and revenue shares work?

For qualifying partnerships, we negotiate a minimum payment commitment and a share of relevant licensing revenue. Amounts, timing, eligibility, reporting, and any relationship between the guarantee and revenue share are defined in the agreement. Compensation follows the applicable ownership, institutional, and professional requirements.

Who controls how the data is used?

The parties agree on permitted uses, recipients, exclusivity, retention, and other licensing conditions before transfer. Surgeons may not own the rights to footage recorded at their institution; we work with the appropriate rights holders. Patient permissions and other applicable approvals must be addressed before data is shared.

How do you approach patient privacy?

We are committed to HIPAA-compliant surgical data partnerships. Before handling protected health information, we will establish the safeguards, agreements, and permissions required for the project. This includes business associate agreements where required, privacy and security review, and a defined approach to de-identification and access. This website is for business inquiries only: do not send patient information or upload surgical footage here.

Can surgeons contribute without providing data?

Yes. We’re interested in surgeons who want to help with clinical annotation, procedure descriptions, dataset review, model evaluation, and advisory projects. Opportunities and compensation are project-specific.
